Yale Status Check??

For those of you whose app to Yale is complete, how long was it before they updated your status? I sent my app fee in about 4 days AFTER my letters were sent in...they received my fee on monday but still havent updated whether they received my letters...maybe my school messed up in sending it to them

Mine took about a week from their receipt of my app (I know because I used tracking on my apps) to when they updated my status page. I'm sure they got it. Just hang in there. If they don't show it by Tues or Wed of next week, have your school send the recs again.

the only thing is that they received my app fee, which was sent after my letters. so are they not processing stuff in the order they receive it?!?

I sent my stuff in over a month ago, and it still isn't updated...
guess I should be worried.

Don't worry, Yale is just very slow. I called them, and they said the woman who was in charge of my letter of the alphabet had been on vacation, so she'd get to it eventually. 🙄

I sent all my stuff in about a month ago, and it's all been updated now. The last thing "App in and reviewed on" now shows Aug-9-2004. I guess that means that I should be hearing from them soon.

i sent my letters in on 7/29. i sent the the fee, verification form, etc. on 7/27. my status hasnt been updated yet. i might call next week if nothing changes.

yeah, this is the vibe i'm getting, too. i've been processed since 7/7, and, although they have confirmed that they have my $$, my app. still isn't done because of the LORs (which were sent in 1 week ago).

hell, even at the top of your status page, it says in all caps something like DO NOT CALL US OR EMAIL US. EVERYHTING IS DONE THROUGH THE STATUS PAGE. i think they realize they're, um, "not fast", and maybe they don't want legions of SDNers pestering them. no worries.

my yale status page still doesn't acknowledge my LORs, which were sent three weeks ago. anybody else still waiting on yale to move?

p.s., i looked up last year's "yale status page" thread, and it seems that they make a habit out of slow processing. oh well.

any word from anyone?

Does Yale email you when they receive something like your LORs? Or is it up to you to keep checking the status page. I was under the impression that we had to check, but someone else said that we should receive email updates.

They don't send anything out. However, it took 3-4 weeks for my status page to get updated.

yeah my LORs aren't updated yet either, although they were sent in a month ago. I check the stupid page everyday! 😡
I don't know whether they send emails...

They don't send an e-mail when you're complete. It took 3 weeks before my status page was updated.

We use the virtual evals and mine were then sent in the 1st of July from Yale to Yale and they didn't list them until August 9 so... they are just plain slow.
