yale: univ towers

are the univ towers a good place to live in new haven and are they close to the medical school campus?

Rumor has it that about 40/100 of the current first years are living in the Towers next year, self included ... if I were you, I'd check out Crown Towers and Crown Court before looking at Madison or University though; the two Crowns are a little nicer than Uni because all the units are owned by the rental company, and Madison is in a (very slightly) sketchier corner of the block.

You can't beat the convenience to campus though. Literally a three minute walk from class.

thanks for the advice. the crown towers are out for me though cause i want to buy.

I see. Well, several of our classmates currently live (rent) in University; they have no problems and like their apartments.
