I should still send in paper copies of my AMCAS to the schools that are taking paper apps even though it says on the designated medical school section that AMCAS already transmitted my primary to them. I ask because for some odd reason, AMCAS is misbehaving this year and is untrustworthy.
What do to? Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes! I concur! Send them yourself. Trust no one, especially AMCAS. They are poops, at least this year...

I called AMCAS a while ago about the dates next to the schools that said transmission. The specialist said that those dates meant nothing and like many other things on the application they were just the result of the computer glitch
