Silly rabbits, stop knocking this university or that. Public or private. The quality of your education really depends on one thing: YOU!
If your teacher's don't prepare you as adequately as you feel they should, it wouldn't hurt to read further than you're assigned. Research the material yourself, makes it stick in your head longer.
Or if you think your teachers teach you enough and don't study any further than what they feed you, what type of education is that?
What you get out of your education regardless of where you go, is what you make of it.
