Plusses are for showoffs. :p

How do you have A+???...I have all A's and its a 4.0 GPA....Must just be your school set up I guess...Regardless, nice stats

Hey I worked my tush off for them despite 2 separate recoveries from c-sections while enrolled! I'm proud of 'em, they are probably the hardest I've ever worked for anything in my whole life (and as a mom of 2, that says a lot lol!) :luck:

A+ and A's have the same quantitative value at most schools. Both count as 4.0s.

Hey thanks! My school doesn't go higher than 4.0 either. In fact, some departments give A+s and some give As even if you have a 100 average. It's pretty arbitrary I think.

I don't really see the point in these types of posts. Who cares what grades people made in certain classes?

I'd also like to point out that getting all A's at a CC is a lot different than getting A's at a notoriously difficult undergrad university.

But I am also shocked when people include their GPA/PCAT score as part of their signature. Obnoxious.

Orgo I - retaking fall 2010 - WP in Fall '94 - it might have ended up a D had I stayed - I got out while I still had a C avg. Got an A in the lab portion.
Orgo II - taking spring 2011 if I pass the first semester of Org.

Physics I - never took - applying only to USN and don't have to take
Physics II - see Physics 1
(if I have the opportunity I may take it just for fun - I always wanted to take Physics)

Anatomy - AP1 and 2 - both A (in Fall93 &Spr94, and retook AP1 in Fall09 for an A - currently retaking AP2 and right now have an 85 average I am busting hump to improve)

And if you have taken your PCAT, your score? Plan on taking it in the fall.

As you can see, Biology courses are my strong area and Chem is a bit tougher for me. Of everything I have taken, Pathophysiology was my favorite class.

The first several responses jam packed with nothing but As got me really worried until I saw some of the later ones with a less than 4.0 avg that were accepted anyway. I feel like I am a long shot for acceptance at USN b/c my pre-req GPA is somewhere between 3.5 and 3.6 and some of the classes are quite ancient.

I like when people put their GPA and PCAT score in their signature because it helps other people know what to do to get into a school. There have been many times where I am reading a post and people are talking about getting into a school or getting an interview and I am wondering what scores they have and if they have pharmacy experience or a degree. Just so I can know what I could do to help my chance of getting in.

And when people post low scores or grades it gives people hope that they will be able to get in even though they don't have a 90+ pcat or a 3.8+ GPA

Definitely agreed. People ask to share stats all the time. I post mine on PharmApplicants and sharing my BARELY 3.0 GPA isn't me trying to brag lol. I just figured it was really helpful to profile students that were accepted to the schools that I wanted to apply to, so I wanted to do the same for future applicants. I agree, some people brag however. But good grades generally take hard work, nothing wrong with being proud of that right?

Straight 4.0 at a challenging university and 87 PCAT (bad day)
