    most and least stressful specialties

    and

    most and least competitive specialties

    I just want to get everybody's opinions.

    Most STRESSFUL: Cardiothoracic Surgery or Neurosurgery
    Least STRESSFUL: Psychiatry, Dermatology, Opthalmology, Radiology, Preventive Medicine

    Most COMPETITIVE: Pediatric Surgery, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Urology, and maybe Dermatology
    Least COMPETITIVE: Psychiatry, Family Practice, Pediatrics, and Internal Medicine -- and what about Physical Medicine & Rehabiliation (Physiatry)?

    Hi there,

    you can probably add OBGYN as one of the most stressful too [​IMG] calls at all hours of the night, high risk pregnancies, emergency deliveries, etc etc .. OH I CANT WAIT!!! [​IMG]
