Is it possible to purchase a subscription at a given time and activate it some time later? Is there a maximum time limit between purchase and activation?

I ask because I haven't yet completed 2nd year and would like to use the USMLERx Step 1 qmax towards the end of my study period.

You can defer a subscription for 6 months. Just send a note to the USMLERx webmaster ([email protected]) after you purchase your subscription.

GOOD LUCK WITH YOU STUDIES!!!

Does USMLE RX"s Step 3 Qbank offer a good a representation of the type of clinical "case management" scenarios seen in portions of step 3?

Does USMLE RX"s Step 3 Qbank offer a good a representation of the type of clinical "case management" scenarios seen in portions of step 3?

Additionally, how many unique questions are offered with the Step 3 Qbank and how many are added/removed monthly/quarterly?

Would all the necessary information needed to answer these questions be in First Aid?

What happens once a user goes through all the Qmax questions? Is it possible to erase all answers and repeat the questions, for example, in preparation for boards?

Can practice tests be formulated based upon subject matter? For example, can I take a pratice test on just anatomy, and then move on to, say, renal physiology?

You can use the First Aid book to help you answer the questions on USMLERx.com Step 1 Qmax. They are both aids in preparing for the board exam.

With a Step 1 Qmax subscription, you will have the ability to customize your test, including:

  • test mode: timed or untimed, with explanations at the end of the block; or tutor mode (untimed, with explanations after each question)
  • which questions to use: all, unused only, incorrect only, or unused + incorrect
  • difficulty level: easy, medium, or hard
  • topics: mix and match disciplines and organ systems
  • number of questions per test

With a Step 2 CK Qmax subscription, you will have the ability to customize your test, including:

  • which questions to use: all, unused only, incorrect only, or unused + incorrect
  • difficulty level: easy, medium, or hard
  • topics: mix and match disciplines and organ systems
  • number of questions per test
With a Step 3 Qmax subscription, you will have the ability to customize your test, including:

Many people say that USMLEWorld has been doing a great job of targetting what you need to know for the Boards. What makes your product different and outstanding when compared to this Qbank? Thanks.

how different are the questions compared to first aid. are they presented in a clinical manner like the real step 1? how much of the question bank is reviewed and changed every year? what about the new video questions are those included?

It states that you have 100% pass guarantee for your step 1 Qmax. If one does not pass, does one get to repeat the course for free?

How many media questions are in the step 2 qbank?

Does your company have any statistics on the performance s (or the increase in performance) of your customers once they actually take Step 1? Thanks for participating and I look forward to your response.

The Step 3 exam has two general types of questions: multiple choice questions and case simulations. Our Step 3 Qmax doesn't offer the case simulations yet. However, we do include each of the three types of multiple choice questions seen on the Step 3 exam: the typical multiple choice questions, Sequential Item multiple choice questions, and Multiple Item multiple choice questions.

The Step 3 Qbank has almost 1,100 questions, and we do a grand-scale revision each year. However, we update questions all the time based on customer comments to improve clarity or accuracy.

Can you please explain your 100% pass guarantee? It seems like your company is the only one which has such a comment on your advertisement. What exactly is your policy regarding this claim?

Once information is verified, you will receive a subscription extension to the same USMLERx product equal in length to your original USMLERx subscription. Limit one extension per paid subscription. Offer void if you did not complete the USMLE examination.

Ok, thanks for the explanation.

Can you describe the formatting a bit for us? How closely does the program run to the actual FRED program we will be using for the USMLE? How many questions can you do in one test (ie is there a max of ~50 like other Qbanks??).

Very interested in getting access to tons of questions for practice!! Thanks!

Are the questions/answers linked to the page numbers in the FIRST AID text series?

Are the questions/answers linked to the page numbers in the FIRST AID text series?

I was wondering that too. In addition, would it be correlated with the 2010 version if the page numbers are given?

I'm thinking of using this QBank for my initial studying as I'm now going through FIRST AID, as it seems that the two would complement each other very nicely.

My question is along the same lines as previous questions. Are your questions up to date with the new versions of the First Aid, for instance the new First Aid for USMLE step 1 ? How often do u update your q-bank?

What tools are there for self assessment? Is the projected score from one section or how does that work?

Has your test banks been updated recently? Are they written by experts or medical students, or both? Are questions updated and based on recent exam trends?

Does Flash Facts allow you to mark flash cards as right or wrong and keep track of this for later review? Also, can you randomize the order of the flashcards?
