Just found this out and thought I'd post incase anyone is using Khan Academy or other YouTube videos for studying and thinks they go too slow - join the YouTube HTML5 trial and you can watch any YouTube videos at 1.5x and 2x http://www.youtube.com/html5

you can also just download the video from youtube and play it on vlc media player and customize the speed you want to play it at, not just 1.5 and 2 but in between that as well
 
I think that is a great idea... hadn't thought to do it with youtube. I have a lot of friends in med school who do that with lectures. Thanks for the idea!
