Has anyone else had audio/WiFi/technical problems during their interviews? My WiFi crashed twice during mine causing me to be a bit late to the intro session and then causing me to lag out of my zoom one on one interview with the dean and he ended having to call me on my phone to complete the interview. They seemed very understanding of this but I’m wondering if anyone thinks this may be seen as a negative since I Didn’t have a face to face interview with the dean even though all other interviewers went well. Also the school ended up calling me in the morning since I hadn’t shown up yet but I didn’t see the call until after I had tried to troubleshoot my WiFi for a bit.

I doubt you’re the only one that happened to. I doubt they’ll hold it against you. But regardless, it happened and there’s nothing you can do about it. Next time just try to be somewhere the WiFi is reliable. If you were in a place where it normally is, then it sounds like bad luck.

?????? The dean was on the interview!!!!! Don't you think that they'd offer him another interview if they wanted to without him contacting the dean????? Isn't there a risk that contacting the dean will do more harm than good, as you are fond of saying about LOIs? It's not like the school doesn't know that offering another interview is a option without OP suggesting it, assuming they have any interest. And it's not like schools are shy about requiring applicants to jump through all sorts of hoops. Seller's market. 😎
