Excellent quality of life and great practice opportunity for Family Medicine physician on the Chesapeake Bay! The Group is a not-for-profit multi-specialty group affiliated with a General Hospital. The group consist of 5 family practice offices, 1 pediatric office, 1 General Surgery office and 1 Gyn office. Offices are staffed with 7 family practice physicians, 1 pediatrician, 1 gynecologist, 2 General Surgeons and nurse practitioners. Offices are fully staffed with nursing and administrative personnel. The Practice is staffed with 2 physicians. Telephone call is 1 in 7. Hours 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday. Three (12-hour) shifts per week. Closed on Holidays. No inpatient or OB duties. Traditional family practice cradle to grave. Located on the Chesapeake Bay halfway between Washington DC and Virginia Beach. Best described as a waterfront resort community with 5 golf courses, country clubs, yacht clubs and marinas. The largest industry is seafood fish, crabs and oysters. Base salary, and full benefits offered as well as living in a beautiful waterfront location!
