WikiTestPrep

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I did about 60% of it during my board studying - I liked it. Its not really on the difficulty level of UW so it doesn't teach you as well (doesn't make you think as deeply) but its still pretty good.

I used it before I started my UWorld subscription and now I still use it when I don't have time to do a full UWorld qbank because they're easier and take less time.

How do they compare to the actual step 1?

i have been using WikitTestPrep and scoring around 60% on average ( which shows 198 as score estimate on boards). but this score has been constant for quiet long. i do not know how to go about it if i want to score 250+. i still have 3 months befor i take the exam.

Just don't take those predictions seriously...I had an estimate of 220-230 constantly on Testprep and scored 250+...
But other than that, I liked it...

I've averaged a 68% so far off the 4 tests I took ... I believe that's b/w 210 and 220.

The Qs looked pretty high yield and good to me. Not as hard as UW, but at the same time, are the Qs on the real USMLE even as hard as UW? The consensus seems to be no. However, the Qs were similar to stuff I may see on COMLEX outside of the hardcore genetics stuff .... it's good to see that I've improved and learned something in the 1.5 weeks from my last diagnostic (48% via Kaplan). I still have 4 weeks to go!

I have a completely different experience. When I first started wiki test prep I was averaging 70-75%

recently it's been easy to hit 80-85% equating to a 230-240 estimate.
On the other hand, I've been having difficulty hitting 230 on any other form of practice test.

I find the wikitestprep SIGNIFICANTLY easier than UWorld. Not tryin to gloat because I suck at everything else!

Are you doing unused?

i have taken 8 tests on testprep and am consistant with 65%. i started with 45% and have been scoring 60%+ since past 6 tests. On the other hand i use Board Simulator and that has my score down to 48%. i have been using board simulator for past 1.5 months and i am consistant 48%. i solve 25 questions a day but no day do i score more or less. i am worried about that score. though board simulator seems to be a bit off current USMLE pattern but it has big names like goljan on board.😡
