No, because the proctors are keeping track of the time you spend on break and will report you if you go over.

You can probably go over by a few minutes, but as SN2ed said, you are being monitored by the test center staff. Obviously they will probably be understanding if you are over by a minute or two since there is a pretty long process of signing in/signing out, but I wouldn't blatantly take more time just because the section doesn't start automatically.

So as I understand it, people will be coming in and out of the room while you're taking the test? Isn't that distracting?

Start last, finish first. No distractions.

But really, yes people will be going in and out. Just hope you get a carrel away from the door. There might also be people taking tests other than the MCAT there so even more up and down action from them depending on their section lengths.

I've been doing my FLs in a table in the middle of the library to simulate worst possible conditions.

Like people are saying, I would not risk going over ten minutes. That's plenty of time to go to the bathroom and quickly masturbate before getting back to the verbal section.

Do test centers permit you to bring your own laptops to the center? I am unfortunately conditioned to only be able to use pornography to get the job done, and I just want to be extra prepared beforehand.
