After an interesting election we have clear winners for both king and queen. After a bout of self-voting from the megalomaniac crowd, we actually ended up with an interesting three way race between Abbercadaver, DocEspana, and LetItSnow (only Sheepie received more than 2 votes otherwise). There were no hanging chads, no voter intimidation, and thankfully very little campaigning. The most interesting vote was one cast for Kaydubs, our co-moderator. Apparently this not-so-subtle attempt to kiss *ss was not well received by the "other" mod. Ruffled feathers are being fixed as we speak. In addition, one voter before they understood the one player, one vote rule, tried to match LIS with a certain arch enemy of his. That was a good idea... maybe next game.. In any case, I am happy to announce that with 100% of precincts reporting, you have elected LetitSnow as your king and Abbercadaver as your queen. Thank you for your prompt participation in the election.

Apparently day 1 is not over yet. There has been a tragic accident already. It appears that LIS has been found dead in the basement. Rumors are flying over the cause of the death. Some claim they saw LIS trying to mate with a piano, or perhaps carrying a piano (really old men shouldn't lift pianos).. , others say he died in a drug-induced overdose -note his avatar's cocaine content, others insist he was murdered by moderator officials. I cannot confirm or deny that one moderator insisted on killing LIS as payback for his dogged lynch of same in the Mythology game, and his subsequent lame attempts to apologize. I also will not confirm or deny that it was LIS who tried to brown nose by voting Kaydubs for mayor, and LIS was killed in retribution for his ignoring of the male moderator. Well, sadly for you all, the king is dead, long live the king. You will be ruled by Abbercadaver, your female monarch. If anyone knows a good crematorium, please let me know... I don't want LIS stinking up my house.

So LIS, a player who was not a WOLF, but whose role will not be revealed, is dead (Oh, did I forget to mention that we won't be revealing roles when people die? 😱

Assuming that the number of "living" players counts for who wins at the end, maybe. But we don't know that for sure.

Another consideration is that the wolves dispatch one of their own first/early to anchor the villager-killing group in the dead peanut gallery.
 
so are we now supposed to back up lynch someone since we have to vote but LIS basically gets to decide who is lynched all on his own?

First. Since I'm a villager and currently want the villagers to win, I'm going to pre-empt this and say it: For all you living villagers, it's an SOV game. For god's sake don't forget the possibility of the dead being converted.

Second. I won't get a chance to vote tonight, so the move the first lynch along here's my contingent vote for Day 2 to lynch Jam out of sheer pettiness.

Oh there we were thinking we'd figured out the basic rules of the game...NOT! Maybe the King was doomed to die from the beginning...we'll never know. Until we do. Not that dying early is that much of a "doom" in this game.
 
I don't think it's a smart idea to kill off the few male pre-vets first :/

I dig it. 🙂 I'm just saying I'm an old fart. Though there are other farts around older than I am. I'm the oldest acting person in my class, I swear--and I'm totally fine with that.
