Everyone in the SOV household has had an eventful day, so after dinner they are all whispering to each other about how the resident pyromaniac was able to slip away and how the queen of the house (MrsSOV is the overlord) is some hacker werewolf named Dana Scully. No one notices Devyn slip quietly away to the study where she sits at a typewriter to compose her next correspondence with a secret ally. Was it a grin of ill intent or just self satisfaction on her face?
Meanwhile, in the kitchen, equineconstant, jriddle and TT are all cleaning up after a delightful meal of peking duck and orange sauce (with a tofu avocado scramble for the vegan/vegetarians in the house). EC and TT finished washing the dishes and jriddle told them to go ahead and join the others while he finished drying. That good deed was unfortunately punished with death. They found her an hour later with his throat slit, blood drained, and "FRAUD" written into her dead flesh. <sov edit: Jriddle is dead. >
We now swing over to the guest room where wildcat has been deeply asleep due to some strange illness, and where Trema is minding her own business reading "The Bride of Frankenstein". An old man in black robes and white collar comes in quietly and shuts the door behind him. In a flash, he throws holy water on her and yells unintelligible words at her. She just looks at him like he's gone mad and he soon quietly apologizes and leaves the room as quickly and silently as he came.
The majority of the people were gathered in the Great Room, where Dwin was entertaining everyone with a mock racetrack he had set up and was wheeling around it as SOV's greyhound gleefully joined in. I believe everyone can guess how this ended. Dwin had "borrowed" some of devyn's spirits and in one loud CRASH, had run over the dog's tail and went flying, wheelchair and all, out the window and fell two flights down onto the stairs below. The man in the black robes had been sitting contemplating before being so rudely interrupted. He simply made the sign of the cross and said "In nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti. Amen."
There was also heard that night some whipping sounds and muffled shouting. Everyone looked around to see who it could be, but bashfulness prevented the topic from being openly spoken of. The houseguests may never know exactly went on, only two people can decide who they wish to share that night's adventures with.
