I still have 4-5 secondaries left. And they all have essays. I hate essays.
2 of them. Both have 3 essays.
I have some, i just got a letter than one school is closing my file. Something to do with a 4 week max time. I guess waiting almost 3 months was too long. Oh well.
I still have university of Maryland's secondary. I am just too lazy to fill out those essays. 😡

I have 5 left... well actually 8 left... I may not submit all though... losing hopes at dream schools
I'm still working on my first secondary (out of a possible 20).
😱

Just send the schools your bank account # as all your money is about to be GONE!

i would turn them all in within a day or two. you are ridiculously late. start with rolling schools first. seriously, pump them out as fast as you can.

this is the kind of negativity i didn't want in this thread. this thread is for people who have not turned in secondaries yet - run along.
i bet several of you are sitting on the duke secondary (which is a BEAST!). I just finished mine this past week and submitted. However, since they extended the due dates, I'd say you can fill others out first and then get to Duke. They know they're late and are even expecting secondaries to come late (a friend of mine who knows admissions ppl said this). I also have know several pre-meds at my university who haven't even started looking at the Duke secondary. So don't worry 🙂
Im Sitting on NEOUCOM (bad idea probbably, since theyre both in-state and a school where I have a good shot), and well ... I guess Wake. I think I'm gonna withdraw that bad boy anyway. Maybe my at my interview at Wright State next week they will offer me a full scholarship and an acceptance right after I flash them a wink and a shy grin so I wont have to worry about this process anymore.
yea ...
yea ...

Oh yeah ... my roommate just AMCAS verified last friday ... but then again, he scored 9 points higher on the Mcat than I did, so I guess he can afford to be a little late. But maybe his lateness will make ya feel a little better
6 here...5 by the end of the night...no dinner or Desperate Housewives until it's done! I've saved the ones with many/unique essays and schools that I am not as interested in for last. The amount of time I've held onto Georgetown's is just shameless--will have been a month by the time I submit it.
hey buckeye, when will you be at wright? i'm interviewing there on wed.
Halloween Baby. Hopefully I'll remember to wash off all of the Ultimate Warrior makeup that I'll have on for my costume. But then again ... who wouldnt want to accept a member of the Warrior Nation? I'll have to remember to wear a tie that complements the hot pink and hot green face paint.
Good luck Coco. Another fellow SDNer (DPS something or other) had his interview earlier this month (around the 10th), but has yet to hear anything. Let me know how it goes.

You're right. I am sitting on Duke. Such a monster.... I want to finish it ASAP, but everytime I stare at the questions my mind go blank.
To the OP: I think many of us are in the same boat, so I hope you're not freaking out anymore. GL with finishing yours.

Yup, duke is a killer. Although I may not even send it.

I have serveral. I have a couple interviews coming up, so I'm not even sure that I am going to finish all of them due to $$$. I need to do: George Washington, Loyola, Rosalind F, Albany, and Drexel. I just finished the one for Rush last week. It was a bugger!

How true is this?
OK and Stony Brook is just absurd!! The seconday question thread just said something about a question re: your most important non-medically related experience. No. Three questions, up to a page each 😱
1. In your opinion, what contemporary medical issue needs to be addressed in the US healthcare system and why?
2. What non-medically related experience has been most influential in your life?
3. In your intellectual development and preparation for a medical career, which non-science college courses have been most valuable and why?
It's nice to have a place to give them a better sense of me, but !!!
I am going to go post this in the secondary question thread....

I have finished most secondaries in August EXCEPT one.
It's so hard to work on the last one... maybe I will work on it this weekend. 😳
I'm in the same situation. Maybe I subconsciously hate that last school. Are you an August MCATer?
A week later, and I'm still sitting on my last 2.

Yes, I'm still sitting on this one because I haven't had a free week in which to write three one-page essays. And one of them bullst, too (needs of the US healthcare system, all I can do is mindlessly repeat what other people say! I'm applying to medical school because I want to become an expert, not because I already am one! /rant) My last non-science course was a decade ago! I've borrowed some books on the subject of my favorite lit class from the library, because my notes hit the trash can years ago...
