I took this form yesterday and seemed to have completely messed up whether this was the hardest one or form 6 was, in my mind. I took it thinking 5 was the hardest. But since checking the forums, some people are judging it to be the easiest one and that it grossly overestimates your score. Is this true? Has anybody had his score grossly overestimated by this form.

I certainly hope NBME #5 isn't the easiest, b/c it's the one I got the highest score on thus far! However, I remember reading that NBME #3 is closest to the actually test.
Were your nbme 5 scores significantly higher than the ones you got on the other forms? I don't know categorically, whether it is the easiest form, but I seem to have encountered various posts in the forums claiming it to be so.😡

thus far all my scores have been around 450, that includes a 460 on #5 (so to answer your question, it wasn't much of a difference). As far as the difficulty of the forms goes, keep in mind that most people take 5 and 6 toward the end of their studying. I've also heard rumors that the NBMEs underestimate your scores by 10 to 15 points, and there's a few posts around here to support that (docstudychick).
Either way, it'll be over in a week. While I've never claimed to be any where near the level of most SDNers, it's fun to try.

You will do fine, just keep at it. Don't let up, as the last week revision done well, usually has bumped up scores of quite a few people who ended up scoring considerably more than their nbme scores. Good Luck.🙂
