CRNAs will have an interventional pain fellowship

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Sweet! I should have gone to nursing school and worked in an ICU for 2 years. That way I could have skipped the 10 years of undergrad, med school, and hospital work to become a lowly friggen intern. Now only 4-5 more ballbreaking years to MDA...CRNA is where its at.

Doin it for the critical care baby, for the CC.

Tenesma, so basically what you are saying with your posts today is that the following clinical course is possible one day:

Patient sees a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DrNP) for neck pain and is referred to a Chiropractic Radiologist for an MRI +/- gado. The patient is then sent to a CRNA for a cervical epidural. The symptoms persist and the patient develops weakness in the right wrist extensors and a + Hoffman's. The patient is then referred to another Doctor of Nursing Practice who has completed a nursing fellowship in Spine Surgery. The patient develops an abscess a few weeks later and is sent back to the Chiropractor to drain it. After the patient has recovered, he sees a Physician to fill out his disability paperwork.

Ah yes, I shoulda gone and been a lawyer... then I can sue the fellowship trained rn, crn and chiropractor. The doc will now become mere icing. And since all these nurses didnt have 200 grand in loans, i can bleed em even more! oh yay
I say we let these people have the practice rights, if they are willing to have the responsibility ie equal malpractice and loans accumulated
nursing school should be 4 years at 30 grand each

i think im gonna marry a pa and work for her
yea thats it
