Hi, does anyone know if it's possible to defer dental school for a year? And is it binding? Thanks!

99.5% of the time you are expected to apply for the year you want to enter. However, if there is a death in the family or you are physically or mentally unable to enter dental school you could ask the school for an defferal. However, 99% of the schools will not allow it and tell you to reapply when you have resolved the "issue."
