(This is just out of curiousity, its not like Im trying to think this far in advance or anything, I've learned by now that planning the future never works like you think it will 🙂 )
I was looking around MUSC's website (ill be applying there for medschool, but I figured I would read about residency programs also b/c it could come up in an interview or something) and I saw they have a 6 year Psych/Neurology dual residency program.
I was curious if someone who did this sort of residency would end up just choosing psych or neuro to practice or if there would be positions that would utilize both?
The main thing I could think of is it would probaly be pretty useful if you were doing some sort of neuro-related research, but I wasn't sure how it would play out for someone who plans to practice and not do research.
