I'm in the process of registering for my next block of electives. What types of electives would be useful for OB/GYN? I was thinking of doing a hospitalist medicine month and/or a SICU month. Other suggestions?

I am doing Endocrinology, Anesthesia, and ID.

Hi all,

I am finishing up a pathology rotation and i spent a significant amount of time looking at GYN related cases. It was really helpful because i was able to see how the pathologists make their dx's from endometrial, and cervical biopsies. Also, i got to look at the frozen sections of specimens from gyn onc surgery. It was really helpful to brush up on my ovarian and uterine pathology, perfect for my upcoming gyn onc rotation!

Not to mention the great hours in path!

Good luck!
