Hey guys.

I have a really quick question regarding how AADSAS determines gpa. I am trying to decide between a formal post-bacc pre-medical certificate program and a masters in medical science program in order to better my application. I know that the masters program's coursework will have a totally separate GPA since they are techincally considered graduate level courses in the AADSAS application. However, will the gpa in the post-bacc be separate from my undergrad gpa as well? ....or will the classes be entered into my current undergrad coursework, thus calculating a new overall gpa? in orther words, is there a separate section for "post-bacc coursework" and a separate gpa?

Any information would help. I would just go to the masters program but it is much further from home and the post-bacc is right here in Chicago....so i'm trying to weigh my options.

Thanks!

Your application includes separate GPA's for each school attended and each level. i.e. You go to Podunk State for undergrad, Yale for a post-bac doing undergrad science coursework, and you take grad classes at Jerkweed U.

You'll get:
A cumulative undergrad GPA including Podunk and Yale
A cumulative grad GPA including Jerkweed
A cumulative GPA including all of them
A Podunk GPA
A Yale GPA
A Jerkweed GPA
