I know one of you path types is bankrolled by mom and pops and could easily convince them to pay the 600 bucks for the Osler mp3's.

Me, being poor at the moment, cant afford them. But how about someone get them, host them at a site for download and do some community good around here! :luck:

You will earn much karma for this in the pathology afterlife*

I'm not sure I'd want Ron Jeremy as my tech. I'm just sayin'. ;)

Ha! My mom and pops got dial-up. God it takes forever for anything to load!

Have you tried Kazaa Lite or Suprnova to get those mp3 files?

One of you get on this! I work FFS. Find it and post the link. I know one of you slackers is on a family med rotation right now.

Or a path rotation. :p

I have never used Kazaa. I have heard horror stories about how if you download anything from Kazaa a small computer troll comes with it that sets up shop inside your computer and defecates on the processor. Then it steals the processor and gives your identity to a new immigrant named Grzypyz who proceeds to buy a car and ruin your credit for life.

Or so I've heard.

And yes, since I am a rich multi-billionaire I will be buying my own Osler notes.

Isn't it tax deductible anyway?

The whole Kazaa thing is a bad deal with all the spyware that comes along with it. My roommate and a few friends use Kazaa lite...they seem to like it. I personally haven't used Kazaa myself either...if I were to do so, it wouldn't be this week. I can imagine how long it would take to set up Kazaa on my parents' slow computer over a dialup connection  .

Ok, let me put this another way: You need these mp3s, you want these mp3s. Help me, help you! Help me, help you!!

You will shine in your program if you buy them and then let LADOC download them from you. I will supply the running commentary on who at Osler is a ***** and who is not. :D

Look at all the free advice I give, give something back.

Dude, aren't you getting sick job offers right now? Tell one of those employers/groups/whatever to toss in some Osler notes along with the 200K+ and share with us broke ass students/residents!

My jobs are for a July 1 start of 2005 :(

If someone does this I will personally instruct them in the zen mastery of hematolymphoid lesions of the skin. Think of all the ooo and aaaas you will get when you pipe up at conference, "no Professor Fletcher I think thats a pseudolymphoma, no I dont buy the co-expression of CD20 with CD5, sorry, try again." (thats before you hear the whistling bitch slap coming from podium)

Screw hosting them. Someone get them to me on a CD and we can all enjoy them guilt-free and safely via the newsgroups. I'll post them once a week for a few months, everyone who has ISP at home should have free newsgroup access.

Ooooh! I'm going to sick these guys on youuuu! I'm pretty sure what you want done is illegal. What are you, a narc?

Oh yeah, I'm telling this guy, too.

What an eye for detail! :D

I'm on a family med rotation. I certainly don't see the Osler notes in my immediate future. Heck, I can barely make it through the Toronto notes.

deschutes <---- slacker

Other things I don't see in my immediate future:
  • hematolymphoid lesions of the skin
  • free food whenever I want it
  • USD200+K per year
  • 3 months' vacation per year
  • epitheloid hemangioendotheliomas of bone
  • collecting soft parts sarcoma cases as a hobby
LADoc00, you have my word that once I have all those items down pat and acquire (1) a car, (2) a CD player - or even better: both (1) and (2) combined - I will definitely consider acquiring Osler mp3's ;)
