Well, I couldn't wait until 2pm like they said in their email, and just called them - and I'm in!!!!!!!!!

I made 1000's of sales calls in the last 10 years and that was the most nervous I've ever been when calling someone.

Good luck to everyone!

Post your IU acceptances here!!!

Pat

Indiana residents, make the call!! Good luck!

Everyone else - good luck at 2pm.

Are you sure they weren't pissed about calling before we are supposed to? I'm in-state but I thought we were supposed to wait until 2:00 PM

The lady I talked to wasn't "pissed off" at all. She was very congratulatory.

Yiiipeeee! Made the call at 1:09, she checked the list, and I AM IN!! Now, I just have to finish my day at work without giggling with joy too much!

Got into IU!

Called Nova and they said they'll have a decision for me next week there

Off to dental school somewhere!!!

I got the call from Dr. Kasberg around 1:45. I was waiting until 2pm and when he called he asked if I was sitting down. I was in the middle of my school parking lot jumping up and down. It was an awesome feeling. Congrats to all.

this is awesome!!!

someone who is planning on attending, start a facebook group.

I didn't get accepted, but they put me on their wait list. At the interview Dr Kasberg made it sound like if you get on the wait list you will most likely be accepted later. If I remember right, he said that for this year's class they accepted everyone off their wait list except one person. So I'm hoping it works that way this year.

Just curious,

I got accepted, but there wasn't any mention about scholarships over the phone.

Did anybody got a scholarship offer from Indiana??

hey chevy11guy did the lady tell you that they will reconsider your application in Feb or did she say you're on the waitlist? She told me Feb 15th, hope that is the waitlist you mentioned.

The secretary told me that I was "considered for admission and am their number ten alternate". At that point they had 21 people on their alternate list. I applied their last year and was told that they would reconsider my application in February, but nothing ever happened. Good luck to you. Waiting is the worst.

according to their website. IUSD doesn't really give out large scholarships. My friend told me that IUSD gives out about 6-8 $500 dollar scholarships and 1 or 2 1,000 scholarships. Thats it. So 6 grand is all they give out.

At the interview they were very upfront in mentioning to NOT count on a scholarship.
