Mos def looks possible. Is the Chem series you are taking general or organic? I don't know if this is applicable to all schools but chem is sometimes a pre-req for micro and physio.

I think you should move Art to Winter 2009.

Just to make sure - when I ask "is this possible", I mean whether it is possible as a workload, and whether I will be able to get good grade with this kind of pressure. Literally taking the classes is possible, but should I?
From the one hand that's the only way I can make in time if I want to transfer next winter, on the other hand, if this workload will lead to me failing horribly, than it might not be a good idea.

I'd look at that Spring 2009 workload a little more closely. How many credit hours is it? How many labs does it entail? If all 3 science-based classes have labs, I'd consider moving the Art/Anthropology course somewhere else. For example, take Art or Philosophy/Political Science in winter when you only have 1 other science course.

It's hard to say whether or not this will be "too much" - for some people, the general ed classes are a breeze while the science classes are challenging and take up most of their time. For others, the sciences are a cinch and they have to spend a little more effort on art or philosophy. I'd still caution about taking more than 2 labs in a semester (assuming all 3 science courses have labs in the Spring) because they suck up so much time.

All said, it can be done and I don't think it looks too bad at all - it might not be a breeze, but it should still be manageable.

Edited to add: My reasoning is that back in my day (eons ago) as an undergrad, science courses with labs were each 5 hours - 3 hours lecture and 2 hours lab, but you actually spent more than 2 hours in lab a week (per class). I'm sure it varies from school to school and class to class, but I found if I had more than 2 labs on my schedule, I was stretched thinner than normal. Some people can take 18-20 hours without blinking (I did every semester of undergrad) - others really need to stick closer to 15 to stay properly focused. That said, I probably could have done a little better in a few courses if I wouldn't have had so much on my plate at once. 😉

Yes it's good. I don't see why people complain about 3 science classes at a time being hard. That's what you do in pharmacy school (next semester for me is physio, mollecular bio and immuno, along with a few easier things. next year will be pharmacology, pharmaceutics and P&T).

But of course you do need good grades to get into pharm. school. Let me just say that I managed a 3.6 semester GPA with orgo, physics and anatomy and could've done better IMO (there was only 1 A in anatomy out of the class of 150--not me), but you're not me. Look at past experience. I say you can do it, but if you haven't gotten very good grades in the past and don't feel like trying hard, that's your choice.

I agree taking those three sciences classes in Spring 09 would be tough if they all have labs. Labs generally take up a lot of time, so it depends on how motivated you think you can be. It's always good to get an idea of how much time students at your school put into those classes because that varies from school to school.
