Are the questions in the Kaplan Qbook similar/equivalent to the questions that can be found in the Qbank. My question is, if I have the Qbook + the cd with the simulated exam, do I really need to order Qbank, or will those 1100+ questions suffice?

The questions in qbook are really good, equally (if not more) challenging as qbank. However, you should definitely buy qbank... You're already investing tens of thousands of dollars for education.... What's an extra couple hundred bucks if it will help you to get the score you want?? Plus you definitely need the experience of doing computer-based questions. And you definitely need to see the breadth of the qbank... Definitely spend the $ and order it... You'll be happy you did... good luck.

how many times did i use the word 'definitely'??? hmm

qbook is harder. it's kicking my ass big time. i thought i was well prepared until i started doing the questions in it, then i realize that i suck majorly at biochem. very detailed questions, i'd say a lot harder than qbank.

i dunno about that man, i think qbank is a little tougher than qbook...although i've only done one micro, physio and path exam in them... going over the answers takes a long ass time 🙁

Gotta agree with Joe on this, I find qbook to be quite a bit more straightforward than qbank. I'm averaging 80% or so on qbook blocks and in the low 60s on qbank. Already 25% done with qbank and I'm still getting slammed...

I have to go with Qbook being harder, at least for me. So without calling anything harder or easier, this is what I think : qbook tests a lot of specifics
it has also, in several q's tested specifics not mentioned in the kaplan books. For me, specific enzymes, cell markers, etc, are harder than some of the stuff in qbank. I havent done the qbook path yet, but in general I do better on qbank, and when not better, I am more often sure of my answers.
