Hi future classmate,

Did anyone get their financial aid letter award/loan yet? I just checked on USC oasis... the school has billed me ~15,200 😱 for fall 2004 tuition already. I still did not get my financial aid yet so I was just a little bit worry because I don't know how I'm suppose to pay for this 😕 . Do you know when we will receive our financial package? If anyone has any information please share...

Thank you,
hnguyen

I was worried last year too but I think the financial package arrived in late July. I think the due date for the tuition is in late August so you still have plently of time.

Hi!
hnguyen,

I am not your future classmate. I suggest you to go talk to Financial Aid Counslers at your University(USC), coz they are the one that can give you current information or status of your financial aid. Do this before you pay your tuition.

I hope this helps!!!

I got billed too, but the loan settlement day is Aug. 19th, which is the last day of the orientation.

Basically, on that day a financial aid officer will go over your financial aid and see if everything is set. If it is not, then you can petition for a delay of payment. If you have turned in all of your financial aid documents, dont worry too much about it.

usc gives a few scholarships, but there aid is not the most generous. they basically require you to be responsible for the entire tuition and associated costs, with very little money in the form of grants (free money) given

I thought USC was known for giving out more money than other schools. Maybe it's just for undergrad and not professional schools? I don't know.... just what I've heard.
