What thank you letters have you received for '05 match

Just wanted a new thread for what contacts people have received so far after interviewing. How personal are they? E-mail, letter, or phone call? From what programs. Just thought it would be interesting to see what is coming out this year so far. I have received a few contacts.

BWH/MGH- e-mail, mass
BIDMC- general thank you letter, not personal

Good question. I was told by one program (WashU) that they would not be contacting anyone before the match after he interview.

UT Houston-complimentary email. Did anyone else receive this?!! It was very nice, and I was just wondering if it was just sent out to everyone? Regardless, it was still nice to hear from them!

I also got a nice letter after my interview in Houston. I wonder if they just send them to all applicants?!? Its such a game. What did your letter say?

That is too bad that UT Houston sent them out to all the interviewees-I felt special for all of about 5 seconds! You would think they would notice that word got around that we all got the same identical letter. however, I still think it was a nice touch & at least they took the effort to send SOMETHING out, regardless of whether it was "copy and paste". Every other program all I have received is the poker face and "thank you for interviewing".

I received a nice letter from UNC-CH. Very complimentary. They are a good program.

I got a Christmas card from the third year resident that interviewed me at ECU. It just said that they liked me and to keep in touch.

I received one from UT-Houston and UMKC. Also received a Christmas card from UCSF-Fresno. That's about it for now. Enjoy the rest of the holidays everyone.

got a personal email from the PD at ECU, as did one of the other applicants I was with today.

Denver said they would not be contacting anyone before the match.
