Somebody in an interview told me that they had a 30% pass rate on the boards and is on probation right now.
Anybody knows anything about it?

don't know about the 30% board pass rate but the probation rumor seems to be just a rumor. The acgme site shows which programs are on probation or have lost accreditation.

Those that lost accreditation are:

1. Howard U
2. U of Tennessee
3. Texas Tech
4. U of Puerto Rico

UMDNJ-RWJ Camden is under provisional accreditation.

UMDNJ-NJMS Newark is under probational accreditation. UMDNJ RWJ-Camden just started their anesthesia program last yr, thus on provisional accreditation.

For the sake of clarity, it is Texas Tech - El Paso that has lost accreditation, not Texas Tech - Lubbock.

Wow TT-El Paso hasn't even had it's first entering class, how did they lose it??????

jefferson is not under probation.

El Paso's program has been around for quite a while. It is not a new program. Just a very small one located in a somewhat unpopular location.

Isn't the class size at jefferson around 15 or so? Any idea why only 8 of them took the boards?
