Do any of you guys know how to access or start ur usc email?? Cus I dont' recall getting info on it but if u guys know can u please telll me what to do?? Also, for those of u signing up for parking...the letter they sent us said May 1st but when I called their office they said may 11th???

Also, did you get all your financial aid stuff in yet? All mine is accounted for except my parents W2's which I faxed a week and a half ago but they still haven't acknowledged it (thankfully as long as your parents tax returns are in they said it doesn't matter if your W2's come late... they wont regard it as late)... but that OASIS is not updated very frequently.

I just called the transportation services at USC. They said that the permit sale for HSC is May 11th, at noon. They also said that permits sell out quickly and that you can pre-register for the permits on their transportation website.

I mailed all my W-2 (and parents') in on April 14th and it was confirmed delivered by the post office on the 15th but it still says that I havent turned it in on OASIS. That thing is only current as of 19 April. I called Jesse and he said that he has a huge stack of W-2's on his desk and he's inputting them in now.. just is taking him a while and to call him if you dont see an update on OASIS before May 6th.

If they need to contact you through email, they would use the email address you put down on your PHARMCAS or on the secondary application to USC.

I looked at their site and they dont even have a place where you can log-on or pre-register.. I remember seeing it earlier when I first got that flier... am I looking at the wrong site?
I talked to couple of USC pharm students about parking. they said it's not a big deal.. it's not like they will all of a sudden run out of parking (at least not at the Health Science Campus) that you will have to park 200 blocks away from the school.. 😛

Jammocah, the thing I did just now is Pre-Register my my account so that I "will have access to purchase a permit when they go on sale." I found that under the permit menu at the top --> Pre-Register.
But I'm looking at this page right here http://transnet.usc.edu/Parking/issuance.aspx and I don't even see the parking lots for pharmacy students Lot 71 and SSP listed.

yeah passes for the main campus are being sold on may 1 - but the health science campus passes are being sold on may 11. I think you'll get your e-mails in august at orientation when you officially enroll and take care of tuition and fees. and for any of you who couldn't find the real website to pre-reg. it is: https://www.thepermitstore.com/customer_info.cfm?customer_id=13 This where you must pre-reg. and then buy permit on may 11.

They originally gave us this link (www.usc.edu/parking) on the flyer and I pre-registered that very first day. I actually logged on and played on their site for a while... I even wrote down the rates but I dont know if they've changed..
Monthly - $55
Semester - $247.50
Annual - $660
They must have deactivated that link and are now using the new one that ilovepharmacy posted because I cannot find the place to log-on anymore.
So everyone with that flyer -- that link and date is all wrong!
Go to the site that ilovepharmacy posted. On that website, you will see that HSC is MAY 11th at 12pm

Where did you guys get your student id from to pre-register for parking? I just sent in my deposit 10 days ago to reserve a seat. Am I supposed to get something back in the mail? Thanks.

The student ID is usually found on the top right corner on the numerous letters/correspondence that USC sends out. If you dont see yours or never kept any of your letters, you can probably call them up and ask on Monday.

If you still cannot find it and you are desperate to know you could POSSIBLY find it this way:
Go to www.usc.edu/oasis
Type in your SSN for the ID and your bday (mm/dd/yy) as the PIN (at USC, your SSN doubles as your USC ID when you forget it or whatever.. but you can't use your SSN for everything)
Click the 3rd "Here"
Your USC ID should show up right away or under any of the links that are provided.
But if the school isn't on top of things then maybe this might not work

I have not... Is there a deadline for it to be completed? All the SOP website says is the following, "The time and date for the interview will be announced at the beginning of the academic year. Attendance is mandatory and upon completion of the interview the student will be cleared to receive loan proceeds." But I guess you can do it whenever online at the Nellie Mae website like your link mentions.

I don't know much about the inner workings of finaid... so feel free to quell my concerns 🙂

AH, gotcha. Well I know next to nothing about financial aid, this is the first time i'm getting it. Regardless of what the gov't gives you in STafford, there are still student loan options through the school right? I don't want my parents to have to loan me money either, yet I don't want to be taking out loans from places that are going to have huge interest rates.
