No AADSAS Application # this year

Hi all.. i Just called AADSAS to find out my application # and I was told that they dont assign numbers anymore; you are only assigned an application ID # which is not a reflection of the number of applicants before you.
I think this is bad since that number has been very important in the past. What does everyone else think about this??

Well as long as they process in the order they get them its no big deal.

Exactly. The number was only a means to identify you anyway, and I am sure that if you are curious about the number of applicants received so far you can simply call them up and a representative will give you a figure. Looking at past cycles, and there is no reason to suspect that this current one will be any different, you are fine if you submit your application during the June-August window.
