Can a pharmacist get licensed for several states at the same time, or is it pretty much state by state?

You get licensed in one state, then other states grant reciprocity. Florida used to not, but now does (I think). California does not, but I have no desire to ever move back there.

You can choose to get licensed in multiple states, but you need to keep up multiple licenses. Each state will have different requirements. Florida requires renewal every two years with 30 hours of CE credits (10 must be live lectures). You'd need to check the requirements for each state.

many states need "good standing" info from other states, so becareful about the timing and order of reciprocation....this may affect fees etc. from state to state and affect your liscensure...take some time to know who needs what info from other states ....it will save time and money in the future....be organized in your process
