Hey guy ....help me here...as a non-trad w / a bad GPA ...my goal was to get all A's....this is my first class in 15 yrs WOW

So What do u think ...is this bad?🙁

how bad is it......?

chill out, its not a big deal at all. The vast majority of my grades were B's, with just a few A's here and there.

ya ...but i have a crappy GPA

well it is your first class in a while, so maybe you just need some time to shift back into gear. I'd say that as long as you understand the basic ideas of chemistry, and didn't just scrape by with the B, you should be able to do well in the rest of your chem.
overall though,1 B isn't so bad. just focus on your other courses and you'll do alright.

good luck!

my GPA wasnt that hot either, just average, or maybe even a bit below (i had a 3.32). Im just saying its no biggie right now. Plus you have plenty of chances to make up for it later on if this is the first prereq youre taking. I'm sure once you have a few classes under your belt, you'll get back into the swing of things and start getting better grades

I also agree that chemI really isnt that important in the overall scheme of things. Honestly, orgo/biochem, anatomy/physiology are waaaaaay more important and have almost no gen chem involved.

Sorry all - I feel like a big stinky poop

We have all felt like that before, just suck it up and do better next time. Take it as a learning experience. Good luck, I am sure you will make it if you are determined enough.

I don't think I've heard that since my brother was five...

I think a B is bad only if you worked as hard as you possibly could and just didn't understand the material. It only gets harder.

On the flip-side, now that you're back into the swing of things the rest of your classes should be cake -- as long as you grasp the material. I'm sure you'll be fine.

Remember, a B still pulls up that old 2.6 gpa 🙂
