I've spent quite a bit of time researching this, but does anyone know of a list or something close that specifies which DO schools require vs. recommend a Letter of Rec from a DO? Or do I need to look up each school to figure it out?

Thanks a bunch!

there is a thread if you can find it but looking it up is a good idea since you need to check on LOR requirements, premed requirements (some require more than the basic sciences such as math, social science, etc), and other info. Visit the website of each school before applying and before interviewing.

Go here to read a little about each school. From there, you can go to the website of each school and check it out.

OK, I can list some of schools that require or not require DO's LOR. Someone else may correct me. This is base on my experience only:

DMU : No
NSU: Yes
COMP: No
KCOM: No
OUCOM: Yes
CCOM: No
KCUMB: Yes
PCOM: No ???
LECOM: Yes
TUCOM (both): No
AZCOM: No

PCSOM: Yes

Please correct me and add more. Thanks.

I'll add on

PCOM: no (repeating because of ??? marks)
