I think we should stop this thread come 10/15, when the new class is admitted. That's the only appropriate thing to do.
Why is that? This is the class of 2010 thread - and we're still the class of 2010! I see no reason to go away. The new class will have their own thread! 👍

We'll need to hit up Ashley's again when Rogue has Dead Guy Ale on tap (or any other time, for that matter). But Kell's Irish Lager is also pretty good.
Absolutely! 😀

For those of you that did this last year--after U Mich puts your application on hold, is it realistic to still hope for an interview/acceptance? Do they reject folks outright? or just shuffle you off to the hold bin to die a slow a misearble death? 🙂

I think so. The admissions office is pretty reasonable.

hi M1's- if you play an orchestral instrument and are interested in getting involved in an ensemble, join the Life Sciences Orchestra! I checked the web page, and apparently the auditions were last week, but it is non-competitive for strings (in the past, they have taken all string players). You could probably still join- rehearsals haven't started yet. It can be more competitive for winds/brass. Here is the website. I played all four years in med school and enjoyed it. Yes, you have time for this. o2s
