My first choice is UF COP. Of course the cost of tuition along with the quality of education are # 1 reasons why I want to be a Gator. The problem is that, the cost will be nonexistent as the cost of living (all four campuses) will perhaps equal that of NOVA's tuition per year. If UF was close to Palm Beach, I could still live at home and receive great quality 'clinical' education!

P.S. Yes it's nice to be away from home for awhile. In a few months, however, when pressure of school is rising and time is running low, home cooked meal is wishful thinking. Finally, my cute gf is here... Awww 😍

I love both UF and Nova.
To be a Gator or a Shark?

What do you think? 😕

obviously apply to both and see where you stand on being accepted. If you get into just one program the decision is easier is it not?

You can share an apartment or a house. UF's tuition is about 8k a year. What's NOVA these days? Around 18k? I think you could easily live near the UF campus that you are assigned to for under 10k per year.

UF, its a better education. thats all the reason i need. but the gf thing does drive a point... maybe you can see her on weekends?

I got in Uf(orlando campus) and Nova(west palm beach). right now i live w/ my family in orlando and i always have. for few days i was thinking of going to nova so i can get some change in my life living away from my family. But u said the golden words, after few months i knew i would regret it. So I chose to go to Uf, it's one of the top 10 schools and very affordable.
I know what u r going thru right now. but if you think staying w/ ur family will help you get thru this program then u should definitely go to nova. since u r going to end up paying about the same if u go to uf w/ rent n other stuff.
they both have great programs.🙂

I would have regretted living at home! I learned some of the most important things about myself by living on my own! You're going to be studying so much that you're going to want to go out and get away from studying. My first year I spent a lot of time bonding with my classmates, we went out regularly. I guess it depends on your parents but most people don't have that kind of freedom whilst living at home. I have a great relationship with my mom but I definately would have not lived at home during Pharmacy school. I know everyone's situation is different, but I think it's beneficial to move out before you're in your career, that way it's not all the pressure's of the "real world" hitting you at once. While you're in school you can take out loans so you don't have those "real world" financial pressures. Furthermore, living on your own can help you learn how to budget and be self-sufficient. I think independence is priceless!

Hey Pam. How's the old-people rotation? I got that next month. Is there anyone older than me there?

Oh, and are you coming for Pirate Liberation Day - Operation Flaming Wench this year?

It's good...easy going and not too much work. You're going to like it, you won't have to drive down too many days/wk. What day are you and missy doing the dinner? Yes I'll be there for OFW2 I'm at the VA that month so I'll be off....woohoo!
