Hi I am a ca3 and I am finally contributing to a thread that i loved when looking for a residency.. I am going to talk about whats happening at ut houston and its goods things..... Dr Hagberg has been named the new chair and I just went to a holiday party and got the goodies.... IF u dont know hagberg is one of the leading airway experts in the country and she has big plans... Already the hospital paid for this lavish holiday party for the residents and staff and it was nice.. She is going to make airway a prioity, she is bringing back a pain program , she has already named some big leagues for vice chair and department postions, has already restructured the OR and making an emphasis on ut being a research mecha.. She is a huge resident advocate and cares... She is in the works of highering some old school attendings that where amazing regional experts when I was a ca1... I just thought I would send the info out for all of you looking at residencies... We will continue to be at methodist, tch, texas heart, lbj, hermann, hermann outpatient, herman peds....

If I go there it is because of HER. My interview with her was exciting. I had all ready decided that if someone else was named to the chair I wouldn't rank them.

you failed to mention she is an interim chairman

"removed" :laugh:

clueless...

you mean it wouldn't be for the condo in river oaks or the membership at champions? maybe they could sweeten the deal with full season tickets to the rockets, instead of an 'interim' minipackage

obviously the wap version of sdn can't handle the rigors of quoting properly
