I know they're pretty secretive and have used the "any time until April" line, but anyone have a clue on what the usual time frame for acceptances have been at least?
bump. I want to know the answer to this too. I know that in mid-nov a couple of sdn'ers received acceptances. And it has been silence since then. Since the adcom meets once a month, maybe dec 15 will be our lucky day!

What's the latest interview date that someone's had and been accepted?
guy interviewed on 10/17 and got accepted on 11/17. His stats are off the wall. (4.0/39)
another guy interviewed on 11/5 and got in 11/17. (3.9/40)
What I've heard is that if you are a STELLER applicant with VERY high numbers (3.9+, 38+) then you can hear back within a month. Else you have to wait 2 or 3 months.
Does Washu meet every month on the 15th? If so, do they offer acceptances at every meeting?
Hopefully we'll hear back before christmas![]()
I hope so too! WashU was such a cool place. The students were awesome, and everyone who was in my interview group was really cool too.
hrw, your stats are insane. Nice MCAT and gpa.
its definitely around the 15th.... last month on the 13th, my interviewer, who is also the asst. dean, emailed me asking me to get my dean's form in because she had just been informed it wasnt in yet. my guess is they met on the 13th or 14th and were getting files ready to review with the committee.
I got mine in 4 weeks, fedex or some such thing.

Thanks man, congrats on all your acceptances 👍
all this anticipation is driving me insane....I can't focus on studying for finals at all....

Thanks. I know what you mean. I keep obsessively checking my mailbox and status pages when I should be having my head buried in a book. That's how it goes I suppose!
Has anyone's status page changed yet? It seems like if they had sent the letters already, our status page would have changed too if we're lucky...
yea, no change for me....I've been checking compulsively. Anyone else?
Not for me, just keep hoping you don't find a small letter from Wash U in the mailbox.
Would you rather be wait listed or flat our rejected post interview? Does anyone know how many people they put on their wait list? and how many get accepted after being wait listed? Those stats for Vanderbilt are 700+ and about 36....pretty dismal

Wow. I'm sure of anyone in this batch, you should be one they offer an acceptance.
That said, no changes on my page either. I'm guessing that's a no-go (was a long shot anyways).

same here, i've been checking my status page every day... i wish i could just know right away! and to poster above (too lazy to go find it 🙂 ) i'd rather be waitlisted than flat out rejected... it lessens the sting of rejection for me when they drag it out a bit 😀
congrats Ziggy
My status page changed!!! I'm in!!!!!!!
wow, congrats dude! MSTP too?!
Yes - The way they do it is. Interview applicants on a rolling basis. They have a set # of decision dates, say late Nov, late Dec, etc. Each decision date, they let in the top ___ applicants. So if you interview in Oct, you might not hear in Nov, but then you'll be reconsidered in Dec, if you still don't make it, you'll be reconsidered the next time.
Hey guys, read the post by user "okay":
"Interviewed mid-November for MD. Checked status today, got in."
From that, I'm pretty sure the adcom meeting for December has already occurred and both MD and MSTP acceptances have been communicated.

No change 🙁

No change in my status, either. Does anyone know if it's proper to request another opportunity to interview? That was my first one and I didn't do well because I was soooo nervous.
I highly doubt it. Sometimes they'll grant another interview if your interviewer was completely out of line (very offensive) or had to cut the interview way short for one reason or another. But I think that even then, you usu. have to request it on the same day.
Poor performance won't fly as an excuse to re-interview.
Congrats Ziggy08! (Shout-out from another MSTP applicant). I checked my status page and I just got in, too! I guess this means both MD and MSTP?
XX Dodo
Congrats Dodo!! Yes, I guess this means both MD and MSTP. Maybe we'll get the call from the MSTP office next week?
Yeah, the status check website only says we're in (presumably to the MD program), and if the MSTP had rejected us, we would have gotten a call from them one week after our MSTP interview. So I'm guessing (and hoping) we'll hear that we got into both MD and MSTP some time early this week.Congrats Dodo!! Yes, I guess this means both MD and MSTP. Congrats to all you acceptances! I just interviewed Dec 11th and am hoping for a January decision! I really am wishing now that I had turned everything in in August--but no sense lamenting now.
Of those of you who got acceptances to WashU....when did you interview?
Also, do you think you will attend? St Louis is great!
