Han anyone received secondary applications yet?

I submitted my AMCAS on 6/10 and was verified on 6/16. According to the AMCAS website I thought today was supposed to be the day when your AMCAS was sent to your designated schools? I opened my inbox expecting to be greeted with countless secondary applications. Yet there were none. Has anyone received any secondary applications by email yet? I am afraid that there is problem with my email address or my application. Or does anyone know if there was some type of hold up at the AMCAS offices today, as I am sure they are very busy?

I received a Medical College of Wisconsin secondary an hour or so ago.

AMCAS apparently sent out the applications to the med schools yesterday. Some schools actually... now bare with me... LOOK at your application before sending you a secondary. Some don't start sending them out until July.

hahaha...you worried already???? Chances are that the schools that send auto secondaries are just waiting until they input everyones Email address and then are gonna send them all out at once.

I hope so, yet those without screening will just send me a rejection letter that cost me ~ $100.

do schools send out secondaries before mcat scores? (as long as u wrote on the primary app that u'll be taking an exam at a certain date?) thanks!

Yes, they send secondaries to applicants without MCAT scores. The only difference is your application will not be reviewed until your scores come in.
