Academic update

My transcripts were received by AADSAS on the 15th, for those of you who have sent in your fall grades, how long did it take until your new GPA was calculated after AADSAS received them? I have an interview at case on thursday, I was hoping they could have a glance at them before the interview.

sent my fall grade to aadsas on the 5th and they received it on the 9th. I also realized that they recalculated my gpa's on the same day they received it. they, however, haven't mailed it out yet.. GL on your interview at case!

It took them about one day to recalculate my gpa.

yeah, i hear you.. i don't know what's the hold up when they already finished recalculating. hope they'll mail them out tomorrow(21st) like the answer they gave you. and yes, they do(mail) it all electronically, so the ds can download your file. GL w your cycle!

From the Academic Update email from AADSAS:
"Once you have e-submitted your application and AADSAS has received your updated transcripts, it will take up to 4-6 weeks to process. Updated coursework and GPA information will be forwarded to the dental schools electronically."
So they don't print and mail the fall updates, they just send them electronically when they process your new transcript.

do we have to send our transcripts? or is that for those who are still waiting to hear back from schools?

No, it's optional. You don't have to do it if you have already been accepted, or if you don't want the schools to evaluate your fall grades. The school that you were accepted to will require you to send your final transcript to them around May or June to confirm that you actually completed the required courses.

My stuff was mailed on Jan. 12th so i'm pretty sure they do mail out the update. i sent my transcript and had everything verified Dec. 29th.

I said "printout mailed" bc it's how aadsas describes. I know it's being done all electronically.
