To my newly matched friends,

Congratulations on making it through a grueling process and choosing a career in General Surgery.

I only have one piece of advice, and it comes from the deepest part of my soul:

Don't be this guy.

Sorry....had to take the opportunity to bring up a really fun thread from the past.😀

I've been matched since Feb. 9th, but I've been waiting all day to see where other SDN-ers matched.

Is everyone out celebrating?

Seriously, everyone must be out partying, I figured there would be a huge thread by the time I checked. I'll start things off. I matched at EVMS and couldn't be happier 🙂. Congrats to everyone else, let us know where you're gonna be!

matched at mass general and couldn't be happier!

Congrats to everyone who matched!

I matched at my top choice - Allegheny General Hospital and I am so thrilled I can't even explain. :soexcited:

I'm definitely with everyone else here....congratualtions to all who matched! Its been a long road and sure feels good to finally see a light at the end of the tunnel.

I am also very pleased. I matched at my #1....St. Luke's Bethlehem, PA. I could not be more excited to start residency and move to my new home!!!

Hey guys! Congrats to everyone who matched in Surgery! I matched at my #1 choice, George Washington and I'm thrilled!

.........

Now, the story itself didn't make me laugh, since it was too similar to the last one. But, I have to admit that when I first read your new screen name I chuckled a little.

i would love to run into this guy at some meeting and then spend a nite out on the town with him= I bet he is a riot
