How many days a week does everyone go in pharm school? Right now, in pre-pharm, I'm going 5 days a week so it's not really a big deal if it's alot. I'm just kind of a crazy obsessive organizer and plan way too much. I was just wanting a general idea of what my schedule would be like in pharmacy school. As in, what's the usual outline of everyone's week?

Also, you guys are really helpful, anything I've wanted to know I'm usully able to find on the forums somewhere so I'm really grateful for this site. If this kind of question has already been answered just link me to it, but I couldn't find anything similar by search.

hello OP,

attached are some sample P1 class schedules from a random sampling of schools.

those schedules look manageable, 5 days with some long and some short days and quite variable depending on the school.

Best of Luck!

The number of days a week pharmacy students attend lectures depends on the school and sometimes the year. I'll be starting my P2 year at Nova soon and the schedule is as follows:

P1: 5 days a week (Monday thru Friday)
P2: 4 days a week (Tuesday thru Friday...Mondays we will have off to get hours working in a pharmacy.
P3: From what I've heard, P3 students attend lectures 3 days a week.
P4: Pretty much no lectures anymore or classroom time; everyone is on rotations.

For my P1 year, we had thursdays off for IPPE. But basically everyother day we had class from roughly 11-3. What made P1 so easy was the fact that for IPPE we only had to work in a pharmacy for 4 consecutive Thursdays. After we finished our round of 4 Thursdays, we had the rest of them off! Pretty awesome for studying.
