OSE animal nutrition
Does anyone have old study guides or any old info on this online course they would like to share?

Would that be Oklahoma State or Oregon State? Those look like the call numbers for OkSU, but danged if I remember - that was like two whole years ago I took that. 🙂

Here are some threads:

Some of these are nutrition in general, and some are OKState specific. As fro study materials, well, I took it in person. Someone else will have to chime in there.

I'm taking it online now. (If you mean the Oklahoma course.) I have only finished through the first exam. It was fairly easy. The instructor gives you all the information you need, including a study guide. You only need the materials provided when you enroll including the book.

I don't know why you would need old study guides or info unless you are not wanting to look the answers up yourself. I personally learn better when I look up the answers myself and write them down.

I was referring to Oklahoma . Twelvetigers those links where help full. I have submitted the 1st hmwk and received a quick 100 back. I didn't write much for this assignment and noticed people were complaining about the novels they wrote. Should I be prepared to write novels?

I think the answers get longer and longer as you get further into the book. I was worried too when I submitted my first assignment. I have only completed through the first test. No novels yet!

BTW there are A LOT of study guide questions for the first exam. I hand wrote those and it took me 15 pages to answer all of them! I found the test to be easy after studying the study guide and homework. It only took me about 20 minutes, but I didn't review my test or contemplate answers. And the tests are multiple choice with some true/false.

Sharpei5 you're the coolest!

I'm planning on taking both the intro to animal sci and the principles of animal nutrition through Oklahoma State's distance learning. Just wondering how people are entering this onto VMCAS under coursework since it doesn't have a set term and is self-paced.

I entered mine as planned for Fall 2009 because I plan to have it finished by December.

I did the same, and listed Animal Science through OSU as Spring.

I was able to do both the Nutrition and Animal Science in about 6 or 7 weeks. It wasn't hard. Don't go crazy writing out all the study questions! Read them - jot down a quick answer (in the book) and then review them before the test. Review the HW's for tests. Pay attention to details; he will ask percentages and numbers. I finished each test in about 20 minutes.

I got 100's on most of the assignments. Just keep the answers short and to the point. There are a few assignments that require longer answers; I believe they are 12 and 13 in nutrition? Something like that. They are essays and have a length requirement.
