UoP 7-8 weeks... and still waiting!

We all got that update from UoP and the message telling us to wait 7-8 weeks while they review our applications... but its been 9 weeks and I have yet to hear anything. Anyone else? Has anyone who got that message gotten an interview/rejection since?

I got an email saying that I can check status online thats all. And the status says wait 7-8 weeks and app complete. I have not heard anything since then.

I got that message, at first it said my file was in review then it changed to application complete wait 7-8 weeks and last Tuesday I got an invite from them so don't lose hope! Also on Monday I got an accidental call from Janelle because she was calling another applicant for an invite with the same last name as me so they are calling people this week!

mine changed for 8-9 weeks for review back to 7-8 weeks. Whats going onnnnnnnn lol. Does this mean anything?

Mine was updated to 7-8 weeks on 9/4, so hopefully I hear something in the next week! :xf:

I am just curious, have any UOP waitlisters from last cycle called the school recently and see where they stand during this year's application cycle? I am really nervous sitting here waiting for an answer until Dec 1st. :scared:

According to UoP status check, mine was:
"allow 7-8 weeks for review" - updated 9/25
and nothing came up on AADSAS school decision page.
However, AADSAS status was updated to "under review" yesterday..
Does this mean my files are actually getting reviewed now?
Those who has interview from the school, how long did you have to wait since AADSAS status update??

Did they give you an update after they received your DAT scores? Mine just says Application Received and 6 to 8 weeks.

App Type: Application Complete
Status: "Allow 7 to 8 weeks for Review"
Last Updated: 09/25/2009

They changed from "application received" to "application complete" once they received everything.
I received application received email w/ the link to status website on 9/18 (at this time it said "app received") and on 9/25, it was changed to app complete, 7-8 weeks.
Once they receive your DAT scores, they will update it.

My AADSAS status was also updated to Under Review yesterday. At least it's a step forward!

Ah ok, my AADSAS status was also updated yesterday to Under Review. They should have received my DAT scores this week, I know some schools have sent me an email they have them. I guess they'll update sometime next week.

i e-submitted on 8/14 and was mailed on 9/8.
There are people still waiting after 7-8 weeks so i guess i should just wait 😡

They have a very high acceptance rate, so they don't give out a billion interviews **COUGH COUGH ASDOH COUGH COUGH**. What I think they're probably doing is putting you on the "waitlist" for interviews. It's like a prewait list lol. They know not everyone is going to accept the offer, so they put you on hold. You're good enough to not get rejected right off the bat, but not good enough to get an early interview.

Look on the bright side, it's

1. Better than a rejection
2. Better than spending money traveling to the interview if you have a low chance of getting in

My AADSAS status changed to invited for interview so it is up to date. So if yours say under review then it probably is! My status was 'under review' for like 2 months until they called me so there is still hope.

Has anyone whose "7-8 weeks" passed called UoP and asked for an update? It will have been 8 weeks for me by the end of this week, and I am getting so anxious about hearing from them... :xf:

Don't worry guys, the 7-8 weeks thing is not precise, give it a bit more time, my 7-8 weeks turned out to be 11 weeks 🙂 , but it did come .
