Financing education, figuring out where you are going to live, how you are going to transport your stuff there, when you are going to move to the area, asking school what other actions should be done😀

Ha! I forgot the financing part (not looking forward to FAFSA) but I was thinking along the lines of what else needs to be done for the school to finalize admittance.

Hard to say.. I would think every school will be somewhat different. They'll probably do background check, maybe health checks? I am sure they won't ask anything ridiculous.
just to go along these lines, I have seen that some students choose to attend a school that accepted them in june (just an example), but they also had a couple other acceptances on dec 1. Do they put deposits down on the schools that accepted them early and wait to see if they get accepted anywhere else later? Or do they just wait to see if they get in to their school of choice without any deposits? I ask because if I get accepted to a school in dec 
, I def don't have the balls to wait out for my "dream school" to contact me in july without having a deposit down on at least one other school.

^Pretty sure a lot of people do that. That's probably why you get schools accepting applicants at the last minute because accepted students drop out.

you can put your deposits at as many schools as you have $$$, while some schools ask for as little as $250 some like BU will ask $3000. May 1 schools suppose to share info who deposited where and theoretically people could be dropped out if they do not play nicely...
once admitted you will receive package with info "what when and how"- dorm application, parking space, vaccinations. You will have to get Hep B which is series of vaccines. You could start earlier to get all 3 rather sooner than later but overall you will have enough time before you start working with patients. If you have been vaccinated, showing titers won't help as you still have to show proof when and where you have been vaccinated.
People usually have facebook group formed to share info. Some schools will have boards where you could get in touch with present students to find roommate or living space.
If one waitlisted they could also ask to put down deposit which usually stays there and is used as deposit if you do get admitted.

Not sure what that means. Do schools rescind acceptance if they find out that you're holding seats at other places?
Oh, do schools ask you to submit a background check or do they do it themselves? I think Buffalo arranges a third-party to get in touch with you for the BC.

theoretically rule is created to prevent people from holding multiple acceptances past certain time... D schools is a small world- did anyone tested it? there were no rumors to such degree...
while you have Dec1 Jan 15 to think your choices and where to go, as it comes spring, it was reported that some schools will call you directly and ask you if you are holding any other acceptances and if they send acceptance your way - are you taking it.... there were several posts in the past indicating that people were put on the spot with such phone calls...
it is ok to have a deposit acceptance at one school and keep multiple waitlists going, that is no problem. It is just past May they do not want you to hug too many chairs since one only have one anatomical part of the body to sit on it...

f) Applicants holding positions at multiple institutions. [FONT=Arial,Arial][FONT=Arial,Arial]Dental schools participating in AADSAS will report to AADSAS by May 1, the names and identification numbers of candidates who have paid a deposit and/or hold a position in their entering class. After May 5, AADSAS will report to each institution the names of candidates in their entering class who are holding acceptance(s) at additional institutions. Dental schools will have the option of rescinding an offer of admission to candidates who have paid deposits and are holding positions at multiple institutions. Dental schools with candidates holding multiple positions on May 1of the year of admission will give such candidates a minimum 15-day notice if they choose to withdraw them from the entering class. This policy will be evaluated every two years by the ADEA Section of Dental School Admissions Officers to assess its impact on applicants and dental schools and provide applicants a reasonable time-frame to complete their enrollment process...
