Got the package in the mail today also. They actually confirmed my mailing address last night, but that is all I heard in terms of a phonecall.

Its great getting that perspective because not enough MUSC students have contributed to these posts. Couldn't be any happier going to dental school in Charleston. All the hype up here is about Boston, but Charleston is extremely underrated. See you in June!
I've heard that the first day acceptances are sent out via overnight packages, and then that any other acceptances are made via phone call, can anybody verify this??? Also, does anybody know when the next round of acceptances will be or if it will be a continuous flow of calls over the next few months?

I just sent an email to Mr. Liner at MUSC asking about more offers being sent out, and this is all he said:
"Interviews are offered into February and offer letters will be sent out
into March."
Not much help, but still room for hope. Would have been nice to know before the holidays though.

I received a call on Dec 14 confirming my address and received my letter overnight. The selection process is a rolling process i believe so acceptance could be anytime. Cant wait to get to charlseton and outta TN. Need to find some roommates so feel free to contact me... Good luck to everyone!

I'm also from SC, Clemson area. I'm pumped about school starting. I actually already live in Charleston now and one of my roommates may be leaving for Law School in Columbia should she get in. If that's the case I will be letting people from school know.

The facebook group for MUSC 2014, which i think would be the most accurate (though probably not entirely) says it has 16 members. Take that for what it's worth. i'm not sure if the admissions committee has already sent out more calls and letters for the jan 15 round. If not, then it should be any day now...

How many out of state applicants do they usually accept? I was looking on line and couldn't really find a good estimate. This is my number one choice but I am not from South Carolina
