Sure we've all gotten used to the practicing equality between D.O.'s and M.D's (well everywhere except in obnoxious, ego driven pre-med world): they go into practice together, teach at eachothers schools, work side by side in hospitals, sit on boards together...etc..etc..

But does anyone know of a D.O. commiting the ultimate taboo and.... I can barely even make myself say it... Marrying an M.D.?!?! :scared:

I myself havn't encountered it, but CO isn't exactly D.O. central either. Please post your lurid stories of this FORBIDDEN LOVE :laugh:

My D.O. letter came from a KCUMB grad (Ob-Gyn) that married an M.D. (psychiatrist). What an odd combo.

No big deal, my wife is a MD med student and I am about to be a DO med student. She jokes that she wears the pants because she's a year ahead of me, while in my head I'm just daydreaming of :banana:

. We got married in CA when San Francisco had that free for all marriage licensing :highfive:
