One of the current students said in the application thread that there is a student committee in the process of choosing a day for a second look day, so I assume there will be...

Yeah. Still waiting for a few schools to drop a decision on me post-interview, and some waitlists, but I liked Penn State, and I'm probably going to go to the revisit day unless something radical happens in the meantime. I'm glad to have a decision to make though

An important question...do we get access to Penn State football? I know it's a ways away but it sure would be fun!
I heard we do! We have something like grad-student priority. I'm dying to experience real college football since NYU has... well, no college sports lol
That is so awesome...my school does have football (Montana State)
but it doesn't even touch Penn State football.
As students, we can buy student season tickets for about 150-200(includes however many home games there are, usually 6-8). Otherwise, there are always flyers around the hospital with people selling tickets, which usually aren't inflated too much. I've gone to 1-2 games each year I've been a student here. Any other questions?

Yeah, penn state will probably be cheapest for me, but I have some choices. I'm trying to find out more about the research requirement.
Opposite for me...I'm debating between Penn State and U of Washington. UW would definitely be cheaper for me but I have lived in the Seattle area and HATED it. I really like Penn State as a school and it just seems like a better fit.
I was curious about the research requirement as well. Any med students able to fill us in?
I'm going and also planning to go the LionCare auction/brunch on Sunday. Anyone else?
