My GPA (overall AADSAS went up a tad bit to 3.28 with +/- and 3.35 without).


My Science GPA, on the other hand, got murdered to a 2.88 lol



Gotta rape the DAT science to UP MY CHANCES BABY!:laugh:
 
How long did it take for them to verify?
 
They had mine verified because when I called to ask them about my transcripts (one was listed but no date received was put under it, I assumed they hadnt received it) the lady said that they have it and she fixed something, 30 minutes later my app showed my verified grades, I suggest you call and ask them if anything is missing. They then will look at you app and if everything is ok, theyll update it asap.
 
my last transcript (i had 3) was received on the 25th. verified today (29th)

Sweet! Thanks for the info. My last transcript was received on June 28 and am waiting for GPA verification.

Oh, how different were your GPAs compared to your school transcripts? I'm wondering how mine will be affected.
 
Mine went up like .07 and like .12 (for without +-)
 
I sent my transcripts in on June 14th but on AADSAS it says they were received on June 28??? And my gpa on the AADSAS app has not been calculated yet. I submitted my app on the 10th. Am I still going to be in the first wave of applications mailed out even though they say they didn't get my transcripts until June 28th?
 
Are you serious? I don't know what the smiley face is for but I take this seriously and wouldn't understand why my application isn't in the first wave. I had it completed within a week of AADSAS opening up.

dang, chill out. there isn't much you can do and there isn't much difference between first and second mailing. you're just stressing yourself out over a few days difference. we've got 5 months until acceptances and a lot has to happen between now and then. spend your energy on things you have control over.

people in the first mailing had transcripts mailed from their universities around the 7th. the week between that and your transcript date is probably the difference between first and 2nd mailing; it's really not a big deal.

All right, thanks for the information. I wasn't aware it was only a few days difference. I guess I was under the assumption that there was like a month in time difference between the first and second mailings.
 
I had my gpa verified today too. Do you know if my app will be mailed out in the first wave?
 
My gpa was verified about a week ago and my app is getting sent out second wave (7/9). So yea, you won't make first wave (7/2), but you probably won't be too far behind 🙂

Just wanting to confirm... Are the only requirements for GPA verification a transcript from your university and hitting esubmit?

I just E-submitted yesterday and I'm hoping everything goes smoothly so that I can still fall into a early mailing batch. Thanks!
 
I'm curious, how did your sGPA go from a reported 3.2 to a 2.88?

Your payment has to also go through, but once you esubmitted, that shouldnt be too far behind

Yeah I called in today and apparently there are a ton of people who're currently waiting for GPA verification.. There goes my shot at getting into that second mailing batch 😛.

Here's to hoping the third mailing batch will come shortly after the second!:luck:

Yup, I am one of them as well! Hopefully they will get sent out soon! Just another chapter in the waiting game

The 3.2 was put a like 1.5 yrs ago. An estimate really; I thought it would be alike a 3.1 but they didn't count a couple of my science courses as 'other science'.
 
How do you fill "classification" on your course work on application? The instruction says to leave it "blank" if nothing special, but it can not be "blank", so I chose "not applicable", is that right way to fill it? Thank you

Yeah. If nothing applies, label it is not applicable.
 
I think your chances are low with your 2.88 science gpa.
You have to get 23AA+ and minimum 22+ TS

Thank you. By the way, I forgot to do Transcript Matching Form and I already sent my transcripts to AADSAS. Do I need to redo it? It says it will delay if no transcript matching form. Thank you

Well I got 19AA first time around. I think I'll be okay with a 21AA.

Yep, I think the transcript matching form is mandatory so they can match your transcript to your application. Better check on that to be sure.


GPA verification is the last thing needed on my app, I believe! They have processed my DAT scores this morning, so now it says "Date taken, date received." 🙂

Let us know when your GPA is verified! I am in the same situation, but my last transcript was in on the 29th! wait wait wait aaahhh :xf:

Haha, I know what ya mean! Mine was on June 28, so I'm really hoping for this week sometime. But I'll let ya know. 🙂
 
GPA NOW VERIFIED!!! Whew!! I'm so glad that's all done. Now, I received an email from AADSAS saying that my application is verified and my app will be sent to schools.

They also calculated GPA for each semester too, which is neat to see, and embarrassing too. 😳 One semester, I didn't do too well....blah. At least things are all done!

WOW that was soo fast! I am impressed with AADSAS, i guess that sort of makes up for the whole 7-10 days of processing transcripts haha

No news unfortunately! but I will let you know when I hear something. Everytime I go on i am just praying that I will see something other than 4-6 weeks haha. I feel like I know it won't take that long but until my GPA is posted I can never be sure

If it just got verified and completed, then it won't be sent out until the 16th 🙂 All the mailing batches before that are full.

Just got home and checked AADSAS (surprise surprise😛).
Seems like my GPA just got verified!

However it seems way higher than what my GPA listed on my transcript is.. Like by .5. Is this normal??

Your GPA is now over 4.0? 😕

Check your coursework section and review if anything is wrong.

If you are 100% sure that there is a mistake, then you should report.

A change in GPA that large would definitely be an error and schools will pick up on that.

If he/she had many A+'s, AADSAS GPA can go over 4.0.
 
i just got my gpa verified

my last transcript arrived on the 30th, so its taken 3 days for them to do the calculations.

Whoops, I meant it increased by .05 haha. Still surprised that it jumped so much. I checked the coursework stuff like 20 times before I submitted just in case. Plus I also figured AADSAS would let applicants know if they entered stuff wrong. I guess I'm in the clear😀
