hello,
i was done yesterday but i needed some time to relax...
actually i was not that nervous during the test...just tried to focus on questions..
anyways here is my score:
PAT: 22 (93.8%)
QR: 24 (99.4%)
RC : 19 (67.6 %)
BIO : 20 (90.8%)
GC : 24 (98.0 %)
OC : 24 (97.9%)
TS : 22 (98.3 %)
AA : 22 (98.9 %)
PAT: I used CDP only (10 test ver.) on real DAT, key hole was easier, TFE was about the same, angle was easier, cube counting & hole punch was about the same, and pattern folding was harder. I got 18/19/21/22/21/21/22/22/23/23 on CDP, so I got the score I expected
QR: I used math destroyer. actually I was a bit disappointed at my score because I was constantly getting 26+ on my practice tests (got 30 on 3 out of 11 tests). and another thing is I always used to finish whole test within 25 mins but in real test..I actually ran out of time that I had to guess one question...
but I guess its still a good score...
RC: ESL for me. enough said
I never studied for this section at all.
I am happy with 19 in this section 😀 I got a passage about some Meteorite from Mars, agonist receptors, and physical exercise & mental health. luckily I did not get piano passage....
Bio: I used AP Cliffs Bio , KBB, and destroyer. this was my weakest part in science, and I was actually worried because I got 18 on my ADA sample test... but I am happy with my score 🙂 as others say, this section is SO RANDOM!!! I got some question about taxomony, molcular bio, genetics, biochem related questions...and so on... but no question about plants...
GC: I used KBB and destroyer. I wish I could have done better... contrast to BIO, I had strongest background on GC (5 on AP Chem, and 3.9 avg gpa of 3 GC classes in college). I think if you just study KBB and destroyer inside and out, you will be fine.
OC: same as GC. I was expecting more reactions... but it was fairly distributed. no question about protein structure, sugars, and lab techniques. there was one question which I had no idea what was going on so I had to take a random guess... but other than that destroyer and KBB will make you ready for this section. I am happy with my results on GC &OC but I got 30 on both sections on sample ADA test... so yea...whatever 😛
I studied for about 6 weeks, trying to follow that 8-week studying program posted above (Thank you!). I went over destroyer 3 times, and read over entire chapters of KBB and AP cliffs bio for about 6~8 times.
I work in dental office, research lab, and tutor 2 kids so I did not have many hours to study... probably 5-9 hours max.
I have 3.63 cgpa and 3.58 sgpa ...and am applying to UW, UCLA, and UCSF.
hopefully I will get interviews with those stats...
