I received a supplemental form from Temple. In the upper right corner there is a number, mine is 5. Does anybody else have a number there? Do you guys know what it means?
 
I'm not sure but its probably the mailing batch. I have the number "2" on mine and I was on the second mailing batch. Did you submit you application recently?
 
If they sent you a secondary application, does it mean they are interested in you? or its just a mandatory procedure for ALL applicants?

I got mine last week, and it also has a 5 on it, but I was in the first mailing batch. 😕

I am pretty sure, however, that everyone gets the supp form.

Mine says 5 on it too. I received the e-mail two days ago. My mailing date is Aug 6
 
It has to be a way that they categorize all the applicants. Maybe it designates who reviews the different applications. Or, since there are several 5's, maybe we're all just getting rejected anyway and they want our money 😡

I agree with HannaBanana, I think it's just their way of categorizing the applicants. I was in the first mailing batch too and I had a 5 on mine. Hopefully that doesn't mean auto-rejection hahahaha.
 
wait, hold on, so weird...

I just opened mine up again and I have a 1 in the upper right (that doesn't appear to be a page number), but there is a 5 overlapping the "r" in "Kornberg" in the upper left...

hmm...
 
Mine has a 2.... It's probably just some way of keeping track of applicants.... It could be by region or who knows what... I wouldn't get concerned.

I have a 1 but I doubt its any sort of categorization. I'm from Az I doubt they have that much interest in my application to give me a "1".
 
i got an email from temple but it only had a form for the fee in it...and on my AADSAS the status says waiting for additional information, i didnt think anything of it because other people had said their secondary was just a fee but now im worried i missed something...


EDIT: my number is 2 and i was in the second mailing group
 
my number is 2 also and i was in the second mailing. it says they need my DAT scores on AADSAS but my mailing date for my DATs is before their AADSAS update 🙁 no update since then.
 
I was in the 1st mailing and my application has a "5".

Someone above mentioned that their number was not in the upper-right but within the "Kornberg". I think this just has to do with the fact that there are some formatting issues when you go from windows to mac.

Same thing happened last year. I don't think many non-5s got an offer, or was it the other way around? There was some strange pattern. . .

I have the same overlapping 5, but I have a 7 in the upper right. Interesting...
 
yea i do have an overlapping 5 under the R in the word Kornberg....i feel like the schools would have any secret coding system it would be on one of their computers and not on a form for us to see and panic about 😕
 
if you open the secondary with google docs the overlapping 5 isn't there. i got a 1 on the upper right, first mailing batch.

forreal. yall be trippin! its just some numbers that MAY or may NOT correspond with your mailing dates. aint no secret codes hidden that u gotta decipher...

I had a 5 as well.......im not sure what it means either.....but i can say this.......i applied there once b4 and they didn't even send me a supplemental app last time.....they just rejected me outright.....im assuming that anyone who gets a supplemental from temple is being considered for interview

LOL...apparently we don't have enough to worry about today! I have a 4 on mine...maybe I can let it run me crazy today.

Mines has number 1 on the upper right side of the document. I hope that's a good sign...
 
Just an update for you all.....i contacted Temple today and asked if they would delay my review so that my DAT scores would update.......their response was this.......ur ok....we wont be sending out interviews until september. Good luck!

Hey everyone...i contacted temple and they told me the # was simply a filing thing.....OH! and BTW....they laughed and said they saw us all talking about it on this website......be careful what you say!! 😉

hmmm....i doubt that they really care whos who....but im sure they look to see how we are all behaving....😉
 
spoke with temple univ. the guy on the phone told me that expect 1st bunch of interviews late October and not earlier. He was like I have 2000 applications to download manually it's not gonna happen soon. Oh well it's a waiting game!

That is alot of work. I wonder how many people work in the admission office there. Temple is one of the better ones when it comes to answering emails and ... I have emailed them twice now and both times, They replied back within 2 days.

don't know but I called a few times and it seems like there only 2 ppl keep answering phone (male + female).
